Mississauga’s Shannon Condie captured a bronze medal for Canada last Friday in Belgrade, Serbia at the 10th World University Taekwondo Championships. Condie, who was competing in the women’s bantamweight division, won three matches before she was eliminated by eventual champion, Jin-Ah Nam of Korea, in the semi-finals. Yi-Hsuan Tseng of Chinese Taipei captured the silver medal.
